I don’t mean to sound materialistic, but sometimes all you need is a little surprise gift to lift your spirits 😉

This happened to me today when I received a STUNNINGLY GORGEOUS handmade necklace from Australian designer Duchess Jewellery.

I was having such a bad week – having split my lip a few days earlier in a really bad fall (insert sooky lala face!) But having something new to touch, hold, wear & get inspired from was definitely the thing that lifted my mood.

Duchess, the owner of the company, crafts each piece uniquely so they’re one of a kind! She puts so much love and effort into the jewellery. Who wouldn’t prefer that over buying mass produced, department store stuff?!

Seriously??!! You guys continually leave me speechless! I’m especially proud that you’re still downloading and streaming this song because it’s my personal favourite 🙂 I remember feeling really inspired and blissfully happy when I wrote it, so I hope you’re getting that feeling when you listen to it ❤

It’s about loving someone despite their insecurities and flaws, in fact, loving them more because they are imperfectly perfect. I’ve found that sometimes just being there for someone satisfying and rewarding enough – you don’t need anything in return except knowing that you’ve made someone happier. NEWS: Well, some Universal News ;)

Overjoyed to finally announce some great news that’s been SO hard to keep secret!! I’ve officially joined the incredible team at Universal Music Group! 🙂 Woooohooo!!

Everyone’s gotta have a day job, right? 😉

As a music consultant and manager, my role is to continue working with Michael Parisi Management and their newest acts signed to Universal.

We’ve also created a new joint venture under Universal & MPM called RIGHT HAND MANAGEMENT. It’s confusing – but basically it’s all the same family 🙂

More on that in the next blog!

I’m so excited for this new adventure and becoming a Universal family member, which has literally been my childhood dream since day 1!

And to work with MPM on a daily basis is close to the best thing in the world. Every day is different and I find myself always having fun & surrounded by the most inspiring and incredible people ever. Whether it’s flying to Sydney to watch a gig, helping style a videoshoot or just chilling at Cherry Bar – this job is by far the best experience I’ve had so far.

Of course, at the same time I’m working on my own music & songwriting with some fan-freekin-tastic producers. And generally not sleeping but hey, that’s ok!!

There are LOTS of exciting projects in the pipeworks but I can’t give too much away… YET!

Even though my recent trip to Sydney was SO much fun, I still love my hometown Melbourne more than any other city! So when I stumbled across this Buzzfeed article, it literally made my day 🙂

Melbourne always tops international polls for “Most Livable City” and recently “Friendliest City in the World” and that’s what we’re known for. But some of the pics below spark some healthy comical debate!

We are a great bunch – so while the list may point out some of our flaws, there really is nowhere I’d rather be ❤

NEWS: Back <<< To The Studio

In the coming weeks, I’ll be heading back into the studio to record and collaborate with some amaaaze international producers who I admire so much!!

 

It’s been great to take some time off – and get inspiration from gigs, meetings with respected people in the industry and learning from bunch of very talented musicians.

 

But now I CAN’T WAIT for the chance to get all these lyrics and melodies off my chest >>> into a microphone >>> into your pretty little ears!!

 

Thank you so much for your patience… I LOVE reading your messages – please keep them coming! The new songs are so different to anything I’ve done before.. which is exciting & scary at the same time!

 

I’ll be posting my ideas and the whole thought-process here and on the links below, so would love to hear your feedback 🙂

 

It’s been such an adventure and there have been some unexpected turns, but throughout it all I’ve always looked to you for support, and BOY OH BOY have you delivered the goods!!
